Facebook has reached yet another milestone in the online world. Their messenger app has officially been downloaded more than 1 billion times on the Google Play Store.
Other than Facebook, only Google themselves have apps with more than 1 billion – android powered, Google Play downloads.
Last year, Facebook split Messenger from their main Facebook app for it’s mobile users. This created a platform with more than 600 million users.
