After five years, Twitter CEO Dick Costolo has announced he will be stepping down. Co-founder Jack Dorsey will be temporarily taking the reins of the social network.
Dorsey will serve as interim CEO while Twitter looks for a replacement for the position.
Twitter has seen an extended stock slide because of poor financial performance. Many of their investors are disappointed that it hasn’t financially grown, at Facebook’s rate, for example. Twitter reported 300-million monthly users in the first quarter of this year, and its investors still aren’t satisfied.
Do you think replacing CEO Dick Costolo will solve the problem?
