Vine Videos Now High Definition!

July 12th/2015

The video sharing website Vine has announced that it will be giving an upgrade to the quality of their videos.

The Twitter owned company revealed yesterday, that users of the popular clip sharing service, can now upload videos in full 1080p high definition.

This is great news for frequent vistors of the site, as Vine originally started in a very low 480p resolution.

The change is NOT automatic. Users must select and set their video quality in the app’s ”your content” section.

The update is currently only available on iOS, and will be available on Android in coming days.

Vine is not the only social media giant upping their quality. This passed week Instagram also announced that, new images uploaded to the site will also be full 1080p HD.
