Ashley Madison Website Hacked – Customer Info Stolen!

July 20th/2015

Dating website, Ashley Madison – for married people seeking an affair, was the target of a brutal cyber attack sometime yesterday.

Many dislike the scandalous site for hooking up alleged cheaters – while making tons of cash doing it.

The website has some 37 million anonymous members around the world, whos information may be hanging in the balance.

The attackers are claiming if the site doesn’t give in by shutting down, & partner site, they will supposedly do extensive damage to the sites userbase.

The attackers say, “Shutting down AM and EM will cost you, but non-compliance will cost you more.”

It further read. “We will release all customer records, profiles with all customers’ secret sexual fantasies, nude pictures, and conversations and matching credit card transactions, real names and addresses, and employee documents and emails.”

Whoever hacked the site says they did it to expose lies Ashley Madison told to customers about a service that allows members to erase profile information.

Avid Life Media the company who owns, Ashley Madison & their servers say they had launched an investigation into the breach and employed a top IT security team to “take every possible step towards mitigating the attack.”

Avid Life also goes on to state; “Our team has now successfully removed all the posts related to this incident as well as all personally identifiable information about our users published online,”. “Our team of forensics experts and security professionals, in addition to law enforcement, are continuing to investigate this incident”.

Many say the site sooner-or-later, had it coming, for basically hosting a ”cheating service”.

Though the websites & their servers are now secure, it’s unknown just how much information the attackers have, and whether or not the attackers will make dew on their threats.

More updates coming soon.
