At CES last week, co-founder & CEO of Netflix, Reed Hastings, announced that the popular streaming company has gone live in 130 new countries, and have successfully completed their goal of becoming a global internet-TV powerhouse.

“Today you are witnessing the birth of a new global internet TV network,” said Hastings. “With this launch, consumers around the world — from Singapore to St. Petersburg, from San Francisco to Sao Paulo — will be able to enjoy TV shows and movies simultaneously — no more waiting. With the help of the internet, we are putting power in consumers’ hands to watch whenever, wherever, and on whatever device.”

Simply put, the announcement triples the company’s distribution.
With this latest move, Netflix is now available in about 190 countries. China being the only major missing Country, as getting them on board will likely require difficult negotiations with a government that prevents its people from viewing material that it does not approve of.

Although it is a plus Netflix has just launched in over 130 countries, many users are left disappointed. The reality is that no matter what market Netflix expands to, users can only watch titles that are available in their specific region. Due to licensing agreements, the majority of these newly added regions have a very limited library of titles (500 or less) when compared to American Netflix (more than 5,000).

Thankfully EverydayElectronics & Overplay offer a variety of options to allow you to access American Netflix from your country with absolute ease.

Overplay solves this content restriction issue with SmartDNS technology that allows you to unlock Netflix’s global catalog of over 8000 options. Besides access to ALL Netflix regions, Overplay also offers user-friendly setup guides, 24/7 email support, no data logging or decreases in speed & much much more.

Still undecided? Perhaps you’re tired of SLOW, frequent changing FREE DNS Codes? Check out our 10 Reasons Why Overplay is right for you!
