Agents of Mayhem sounds like its going to be one heck of a game. Its a spin-off of Saints Row and was also developed by Volition and published by Deep Silver.
Though it doesn’t have the same characters, the game play is said to be alot alike. An open world action adventure video game. There are twelve characters in this game, but we’ve been hearing alot about a particular three, a group called Carnage a Trois. Each member has a unique way of leaving destruction in their wake.
Daisy looks like a roller durby girl with a wicked mini gun. Her attitude is not much different. You can tell this by her catch phrase “talk to the clam”. Which is probably about nicest thing she says since the 18+ rating is mainly do to the fact that all the characters have potty mouths.
Then theres Braddock. She comes from a long line of military personal. Braddock is a Master Tactician and uses her cigar to lock onto enemies for laser attacks.
Last but not least, Yeti, is a Russian who enjoys singing songs from Frozen, as he smashes people to bits with his freeze gun. He was in a program known as the Cold Warrior Program. CWP was designed to make super soilders. While most of the people involved went mad, no one could break Yeti.
Carnage a Trois is a cool group of heros but they are not the only ones you can choose from! The player can choose three out of these twelve heros and alternate between them in combat.
Here is a list of the remaining 9 characters you can take into the war zone with you!
Fortune – She uses two energy pistols as her primary weapon. Fortune also has an attack drone which momentarily stuns enemies in the surrounding area.
Hardtack – He has a shotgun with a mine launcher attachment that allows him to blow up groups of enemies. Hardtack also has a futuristic harpoon that can be used to melee or can be tossed in order to teleport his enemies to him.
Hollywood – He has above average stats and a decent ranged weapon. Hollywoods ability, action hero, puts sunglasses on making the surrounding area explode.
Joule – She can deploy turrets to demolish her surrounding enemies. She also has a lightning gun that weakens her enemies and makes them more vulnerable to her turrets.
Kingpin – He has a boombox which he calls to, making his surrounding enemies break into dance, thus leaving them vulnerable while making them looking funny in the process.
Oni – He wears a weird mask that when moved a certain way causes his enemies to panic.
Rama – She has a bow, which stands for Balanced Omnitactical Weapon, for long range shooting. She also can infect a person with the plauge, which then can be passed on to other enemies.
Red Card – His ability can pretty much make an enemies health non-existent, but will not completly kill them. He must finish them off with his gun that can turn into a shotgun or semi automatic rifle.
Scheherazade – She only can kill by knife attacks. Up close or throwing them. She is the only member that can kill with knives and nothing else. She also likes to call them her children for fun, even though its kinda sadistic.
Gat – He has a medium range shotgun as his main weapon. His ability is whipping two 45’s out and obliterating the enemies that stand in his way.
Lazarus – He was healed by nanomachines after a mission went bad and is available as a pre-order bonus.
See? I bet if you havent already pre-ordered this game, your thinking about it now. But we have a few more people to talk about. The villains. In this action packed game their is a group of villians known as the L.E.G.I.O.N.
The L.E.G.I.O.N or League of Evil Gentlemen Intent on Obliterating Nations are the agents main enemy. The agents of M.A.Y.H.E.M (Multinational Agency for Hunting Evil Masterminds) must go into combat against these six villians.
Morningstar, the leader of the L.E.G.I.O.N has succeeded on the attack of the worlds nation. L.E.G.I.O.N minister Doctor Babylon is moving on to their next scheme to further cripple the world with the help of his lieutenants, Hammersmith, August Gaunt, Ariadne and Steeltoe.
There is said to be seven ministries named after the seven deadly sins. So far we have only heard of the ministry of pride, which is Doctor Babylon’s ministry and the ministry of Gluttony that is still somewhat of a mystery.
Agents of Mayhem will be released on august 15th in North America and August 18th in Europe. It will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
