What Is Going On With IsoHunt.to?

What was once one of the largest torrent sites on the web has suddenly taken a turn for the worse. Without warning, popular torrent search engine IsoHunt.to has went offline, causing concern among many of it’s users.

Starting around two weeks ago Isohunt.to started going through a wide range of troubles. On or around August 23rd the site became inaccessible and has yet to come back online since. Upon visiting Isohunt.to users are hit with a cloudflare error message that suggests there is an issue with the site’s host.

While nothing has been officially confirmed, we do know that their domain name seems to be operating as it should, and it hasn’t been seized by the registrar.

Some rumours that are circulating suggest IsoHunt operators may have thrown in the towel but at the moment this has not been confirmed.

IsoHunt.to launched in 2013 less than two weeks after isoHunt.com shut down, and it is well known they have faced quite a bit of legal pressure over the years. That and the major decline in traffic over the past year may have something to do with the sudden shutdown.

The operators still remain silent on the situation, so exactly what they are up to is unknown.

As expected, many clone sites have been popping up. Those who search for IsoHunt on Google are now pointed to isohunts.to, which we can confirm is a scam. Be sure to stay vigilant and watch out for these types of sites. They feature malicious ads, malware, try to do things like obtain your credit card information, and more.

EverydayElectronics will release an update as soon as more information is confirmed. It’s important to note: We always recommend using a high tier VPN, such as ExpressVPN, to ensure you are protected while downloading torrents.
