How To Screenshot On iPhone X (iOS 11)
#1) Open the app or screen you want to capture.
#2) Press and hold the lock button on the right side of the iPhone X.
#3) Click the Volume Up button at the exact same time.
#4) The screen will flash white to confirm you have successfully taken the screenshot.
After taking a screenshot on iOS 11 you will notice it minimizes to the bottom corner of the screen. This allows you to take advantage of four new screenshot options.
#1) You can leave the thumbnail alone. It will disappear after a few moments and save itself to your Photos library.
#2) You can swipe it off the screen and it will save to your Photos.
#3) You can long-press on the thumbnail to send it using the iOS sharing options.
#4) You can tap on the thumbnail to enter Markup mode. This allows you to edit and share your screenshot without having to save it to your Photos library.
