Wondering how to install or fix the popular URLResolver addon on your Android device? If you are unfamiliar with URLResolver, it is an important Kodi tool that allows many well known addons to scrape content from video hosting sites, then enables that content to be played back in Kodi.
URLResolver was first released back in July of 2011 by developer t0mm0. It was later maintained by Eldorado, then tknorris, and most recently jsergio123.
After being targeted by the MPA/ACE in mid November, jsergio123 decided to throw in the towel, and ceased all development of his addons including URLResolver.
URLResolver could always be found in the TV ADDONS Fusion Repo. Shortly after jsergio123 announced his retirement, the team at TVADDONS revealed that the tool was in the hands of new developers and would continue to be updated and found in their repo.
TVADDONS is currently waiting for their original domains to be returned, so in order to continue to receive updates from the Fusion Repo and URLResolver, users must manually install their new repository.
A large number of users are unaware that TVADDONS is actually still available, and that most popular addons such as Covenant do not work without URLResolver. With that being said, you can follow the easy steps listed below to install URLResolver on any Android device running Kodi Krypton 17 and above, as well as Kodi 16.1 Jarvis.

Stay Safe While Using Unofficial Kodi Addons – Use A VPN
Unofficial Kodi addons have been getting a ton of media attention recently. While it may be convenient to access such a wide range of content in a few easy steps, a major downside is that your private information is at risk.
Copyright holders in Canada, UK, USA, and around the world have been using this information to send threatening copyright infringement notices, and in some cases lawsuits, against Kodi users who infringe on their property.
To avoid any unwanted notices while using Kodi and ensure you remain completely safe online, we highly recommend using a VPN to encrypt your internet traffic and hide your IP address.
